Hi! I am excited to attend my first thatcamp! I am researching the use of social media in museums to extend the learning experience (specifically non advertisement purposes). Is anyone else interested in this topic? I would love to hear from others and gain different perspectives.

Indeed. This conversation could also be easily broadened, if you’re game, to social media and public institutions, or public sites, or some such? I’ve spent a good deal of time working with social media for theatres, for instance, and am also interested in social media engagement at historic sites.
I find museum examples apply very well to Special Collections.
