I've been a research and instruction librarian working with faculty, TAs, and students in a variety of humanities departments for the past 10 years. For several semesters, I've taught a one-credit course called Library Research in Context: Communication Studies; this fall's course was entirely online. Some favorite parts of my job include meeting with International Writing Program participants and working with anybody who is interested in Russian history, language, or culture. I have a special fondness for Suzuki violinists and bagpipes.
