I am a History PhD candidate at the University of Iowa. I research marriage disputes in medieval Paris (15th century) and to do this I look through hundreds of court cases that I photographed from archives. I play the fiddle, poorly, and like to do construction on my house in my free time. I like long walks on the beach and romantic candle-light dinners. I have no opinion about Nicholas Carr or Slavoj Zizek, and I have no idea what Galaga is. :)
