I am the Grants Director for Humanities Iowa, a re-granting institution, and non-profit affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Prior to taking this position, I thought "database skills" meant navigating JStor. I am still learning about all the vital ways technology can support the humanities, and perhaps providing some ideas of my own.
