I am an anthropologist who has used audio visual technologies for documentation and dissemination of my research. In 2009 a film I made with 2 indigenous filmmakers was distributed by Documentary Educational Resources (OWNERS OF THE WATER: CONFLICT AND COLLABORATION OVER RIVERS). It has been to multiple film festivals and I have been a FF judge. I want to develop a better website.
I also teach a digital media anthropologoyclass (have been doing this since 1998) but wish I had more technical support (am really sorry that the Info Arcade is no more) and have been active in promoting student familiarity with AV/digital medias. Would like to know more colleagues on campus that work in these media.
